Karen has many years experience of chicken keeping, especially ex-battery hens. One of our original ex-battery hens (brown hen in the photo below) was rescued in 2008, amazingly she’s still going strong.
All of our ‘girls’ live the good life within our garden smallholding and free range everyday if the weather allows.
