All of our chickens here are ex battery hens, our girls live the good life within our garden smallholding. 
We have 5 hens at the moment but had 15 at one point, sadly most have come and gone but we still have 1 of our original ex battery hens. Our hens are getting on a bit now and not all are laying, we collect just enough eggs for a few nice breakfasts each week, perhaps the odd bit of baking. At some point we will add a few more hens to our flock.
