The sun came out yesterday, just briefly, but long enough to let the new rescue hens out in a run, allowing them to feel the warm sunshine on their skin for the very first time in their lives.

/ July 12, 2012We had a smidgeon of sun here today – I swiftly popped my chillies out into a pool of sunshine on my balcony then, within the hour, had to bring them back again! Now raining again, no surprise there!
